Q:  Denise, what do you think of sending “Just Listed” cards to your database every time you get a new listing?

A:  I feel that a Just Listed card is more suited to announce a listing to a specific area. If you were to send out a Just Listed card to your precious database every time you listed a home and this home was not relevant to them (not in their area) they may wonder why they are getting it. If they kept getting these they may think you are too busy to help them. Instead consider that a Just Listed card is part of the marketing you do when you get a listing and market that card to the homes in the area. That Just Listed card WILL be relevant to the neighbors or the nearby neighborhood as it also educates them on what things are selling for in their area. Keep your mailings to your database about the real estate market, not just about promoting a new listing every time you get one.
