The starting point: With a strong affinity for nature and a passion for health and wellness, Laurin’s ideal brand would transmit a sense of calm and familiarity, complementing her understated design style.
The target audience: While her personality and skill set are well-suited for first-time home buyers, she aims to expand her reach toward a broad spectrum of ages and lifestyles across the greater Seattle area.
The strategy: Laurin was instrumental in the creation of her brand. She provided a variety of designs that resonated with her from magazine pages and website examples to logo styles and beyond. We enjoyed the process of studying her selections to narrow down her interests into a single logo and layout arrangement. After building the initial design, we worked with Laurin to strategically remove elements such as color, texture, and additional fonts to create a strikingly minimalist look.
The final brand: We couldn’t be happier with the end result of Laurin’s new brand! The logo features a charming hand-drawn house logo with her monogram inside. In a similar artistic style, the corners are accented with orchids to create an asymmetrical border that draws the eye to her name. The black and white color palette beautifully complements her listing images. While her design appears relatively simple in appearance, the overall impact is the perfect blend of professional and personal. The end result is one that we could not have achieved without our teamwork and connection with Laurin.
