This week’s design spotlight features the brand of MASTERY agents, John Haines and Missi Huff. John and Missi make the perfect team by balancing Missi’s experience with John’s fine-tuned people skills. They wanted a brand that reflects their professional confidence as well as their warm personalities. John and Missi’s emblem logo is comprised of their common last initial, forming a single house outlined in gold. The gold and charcoal color palette conveys luxury, while the wood grain texture in the header and footer constructs an appearance of handcrafted quality. The white-space in the background maximizes simplicity, allowing the text and photos become the main focal point. John and Missi selected an authoritative headline font, paired with a contemporary sans serif font. This brand exactly the polish John and Missi needed to take their established business to the next level.
