The starting point: Lauri entered real estate after a wrist injury ended a 25-year career as a chef and restaurant owner. Fortunately, the organization and business skills from her first career transferred well and she took on the Mastery program to bring her marketing to the next level.
The target audience: She enjoys working with the energy of young urban-ites and first time buyers, but also keeps in contact with many seasoned buyers and sellers people from her restaurant days. Lauri needed a brand that could do it all without getting cluttered or dated.
The strategy: Minimal was the name of the game. Her palette is predominantly aqua-blue with a tiny splash of lime, with plenty of room for her content to shine.
The final design: The design leans heavily on her mono-weight line logo and crisp rectangles. She elected to use a stunning photo of Seattle from a less-conventional vantage point to convey her area of expertise.
