The starting point: Susan is a historic homes specialist and enthusiast, as well as a senior downsizing specialist. Her passion for historic homes has resulted in her not only painstakingly restoring numerous historic homes, but researching and archiving Seattle-area properties designed by her great-great uncle almost 100 years ago.
The target audience: Her dedication for going the extra mile with helping seniors make the transition from their longtime homes to their next chapter in their lives is remarkable. She wanted to refresh her existing brand so it would appeal to clients that like preserving architectural heritage or need to find a the right fit for their older home.
The strategy: Simplicity and clarity were both main goals in her brand refresh. She kept the black-and-white photos from her original brand, but now they are applied minimally as a nod to her family legacy. Periwinkle blue and crisp white have lend calming energy to her marketing. Her book logo was also simplified to a single-line element.
The final brand: Bright and confident, her new brand brings in a personal script font with a modern sans-serif font. With just a few templates, she can create a wide variety of marketing materials with ease.
