Q: Denise, I am going to do the Annual Client Reviews for my clients. Thank you for the great idea! But I also want to take care of my farming database. What do you suggest?
A: Great question and good job on thinking about what you can do for your farm! As an agent, I did a version of the Annual Client Review for my farm called the Annual Neighborhood Review. The basic principles are the same – I included a cover (with a photo of some identifiable feature of the farm such as a monument sign or a park), letter, a list of all the properties that had sold in the area over the last year and determined the relationship between the sales price and the assessed value, and provided an area market update of all the listings, pendings, and solds. People loved it! They talked about it to the neighbors and it provided me with incoming business at the beginning of the year.
I have this template available as part of my Building a Geographical Farm lead generation guide if you need a place to start!
